Staff:

Stephen W. Reinert, Dean of Rutgers Study Abroad & Associate Professor of History
Dean Reinert is charged with global oversight of the program. Most importantly, he works with faculty and staff in setting program policy, reviewing and updating existing programs, analyzing academic dimensions of new projects, and negotiating with overseas counterparts on linkages and exchanges.

Stephen M. Ferst, Director
Dr. Ferst administers the programs and supervises staff at core levels of operation, in New Brunswick and abroad; recommends policy and program planning to the Dean of Study Abroad; and coordinates alumni and external relations.

Jenny M. Kawata, Associate Director
Ms. Kawata manages the daily operations of the programs and the office, and oversees recruitment and marketing of the programs .

Kelly Bernstein, Financial Coordinator
Ms. Bernstein oversees all program and administrative budgeting, and the overseas accounts; all student accounting and financial aid; and financial advising.

Lauren Randolph, Regional Coordinator
The Regional Coordinator is responsible for the academic, pre-departure, and re-entry advising for students; for communication to students, international offices, and related offices at Rutgers and in the US; and for programming for incoming exchange students.

Marcela Caro, Program Assistant
Ms. Caro is the primary contact for all inquiries received in-person, on the phone, in the mail, or electronically. She supports the administrative functions of the office and the overseas staff.
