The specific courses and programs offered differ by school. We can help you narrow down your choice of university by knowing what kinds of courses and living environments you prefer. However, some things are the same no matter where you study in Britain.

Course Highlights:
The language is always English ---though not necessarily American (so bring dosh for spare Biros!).
Clubs and sports are a big part of university life, and there's usually a "Freshers' Week" or orientation before school starts when you can meet new people and get involved.
England, Scotland, and Wales are well connected by train, so you'll have an easy time touring around Great Britain, or even traveling to Ireland and Europe (by plane, train, or ferry) on your breaks.

  • If you're interested in studying in Great Britain, the question's not whether to, but where!
We've got ELEVEN different programs to choose from! You pick your top five, and we'll get you into the U that's right for you.

With so many great options in Great Britain it might seem difficult to choose, but we're here to help. Do you like huge metropolises, or small rural towns, or mid-sized cities? What do you plan to study? Our partner universities have strong departments in everything, but some have extraordinary specialties for you to consider. Follow the links listed on the top left of this page to find a little bit about each school. For even more information, you can visit the individual university web sites or contact us in the Study Abroad office.

When you get to Britain, your Program Director will advise you on course work, travel, and the British way of life. Your Program Director will also arrange events including a long weekend orientation in London with sightseeing, theater, meals, and private tours of Westminster Abbey and Parliament. Other group trips may include Thanksgiving dinner, Stonehenge, tours of Oxford and Cambridge, and an evening of Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon.

So go get some tea and scones, explore these pages, and have a go at it. Cheers!
