Why settle for writing postcards when you can write a whole
newspaper? Our intensive program at Folha de S.Paulo lets
you work with newspaper editors and journalists in a city
that makes New York look like a small town!
If you've ever dreamed about shouting "Stop the presses!"
or scooping the big story, well, you might need to dial it
down for now. But you've got to start somewhere, and this
six-week internship shows you every aspect of the newspaper
biz, from choosing stories to final layout. And working
with seasoned pros gives you an experience you can't get in
any class. Sometimes the best stories aren't in the news:
they're told in the staff cafeteria! So sharpen your
pencils, because Folha de S.Paulo has an assignment for
you!
Unwind at your five-star hotel or at the famous beaches a
short bus ride away.
São Paulo has enough dance and music, landmarks, and art
museums to earn its rep as Brazil's cultural capital.
Real Brazilian cuisine will hit taste buds you never knew
you had!
"Your program director will make sure you get a taste of everything, arranging events like theater nights, dinners in various ethnic neighborhoods, and a trip to Salvador, Bahia."
