About GREGORY W SPEAR:
Greg currently advises on short-term service-learning programs as well as a few faculty-led short-term programs.  He is also the advisor and Rutgers campus liaison for the Clinton Global Initiative University.

In these roles, he works closely with faculty members and students involved in a wide array of global programs and activities, ranging from developing service-learning programs, advising students on summer study abroad options, and advising students on global social entrepreneurship and innovation.  He's a avid believer in intercultural learning and engaged citizenship, and hopes to help students acquire both through global education programs.

Greg's first international experience was in 2008 when he studied abroad for the fall semester in Florence, Italy. After graduating, Greg spent several months teaching English in economically disadvantaged public schools in southern Italy.

Greg obtained his B.A. from Rutgers University in 2010.  He is currently completing a Master's degree in Global and Comparative History at Rutgers.
